Little by Little transports the audience to the world of the oak tree as we share a story of new growth in a forest following a devastating fire. Shadow puppets, rod puppets, and hand puppets come together in this family show as narrated by a "nutty" little acorn. We explore the themes of inspirational acts and the potential for greatness that is deep within even the smallest of creatures. A "homegrown" tale featuring animals of the mid-Atlantic region, Appalachian-style music by a Virginia musician, and puppets by our very own Heidi Rugg and Melanie Johnson.
